13 Bad Reviews of Classics — Critics Get It So Wrong

The disinterested students forced to read some of these classics for English might agree. But most of you will laugh at the how far off the mark these reviewers of now classic literature were.

For example:

“Here all the faults of Jane Eyre (by Charlotte Brontë) are magnified a thousand fold, and the only consolation which we have in reflecting upon it is that it will never be generally read.”
